5th Anniversary Collection – release #1

To mark the 5th anniversary in 2026, a collection of 5 exclusive single malt whiskies is being released under the name "5th Anniversary Collection", each in a limited edition and carefully selected.

This is the first release from this collection – a 16-year-old Glenallachie from 2008, bottled at 53.5% with an Oloroso sherry finish. This release was recently presented at the Waregem Whisky Festival and has already received wonderful reviews!

The GlenAllachie Distillery is a Speyside distillery founded in 1967, known today for producing rich, fruity single malt Scotch whisky. Since master blender and icon Billy Walker took over ownership in 2017, he has greatly transformed the distillery's reputation by shifting the focus from bulk blends to high-quality single malts. He revamped their "cask policy" by sourcing exceptional casks from around the world and meticulously managing maturation, resulting in a distinctive and award-winning GlenAllachie style.

NOSE:
Herbal notes intertwine with rich dried fruits such as plum, fig, and raisin, complemented by hints of coffee and chocolate.

PALATE:
Powerful, opening with warming spices like clove & nutmeg, followed by dark fruits & caramel.

FINISH:
Exceptionally long, with a beautiful balance between soft sweetness and spices, ending with a pleasant warmth.
