Release 13 comes from the Glen Elgin stable, a distillery located just south of the town of Elgin (Speyside). It is a single malt that has spent its entire maturation period in a 1st-fill Oloroso sherry cask.
A beautiful single malt that is very nicely balanced despite its young age. According to some, it can effortlessly stand comparison with whiskies twice its age, which is a wonderful compliment for this expression!
NOSE:
The distinct sweetness of the Oloroso sherry blends with notes of gummy bears and candy, creating a delightful and sweet indulgence.
PALATE:
Bursting with vibrant red fruit notes, offering a wonderfully full and rich flavor.
FINISH:
A beautiful finish that lingers for a long time.
